“Song Zhong”(宋種） is one of the ten most famous aroma of Phoenix Dan Cong Tea. Its name is based on the legend since Song Dynasty. The Emperor of Song Dynasty once travelled in Phoenix Mountain, he was very tired and thirsty, he drunk some tea grown there, and found it restored his energy immediately, so he named this Tea “Song Zhong”. In reality, there are three mother tree with over 600-700 years old, the tea made from the descendant of the mother tree can be considered as “Song Zhong”. This selected Song Zhong is made from a old bush. It is strong in taste, with well balanced floral, fruity and honey notes.
