Ling Yun Bai Hao “White Downy” Black Tea
Ling Yun Bai Hao is a famous kind of Tea in Guangxi. Its original name is called “Bai Mao Cha”, translated as white and downy, which fully described the downy appearance of the fresh tea.
Ling Yun, located in the mountain range area of Qing Long Shan and Wang Lao Shan in Bai Se, Guangxi. It located in the sub-tropical area, with annual temperature varies from 19 to 23°C, and annual rainfall is between 1700-1800 millimetres , which created a favorable Tea growing environment.
The varietal of Bai Hao Tea Tree has strong and fat buds, full of white pekoe. It can be used to make all six types of Tea, includes Black Tea, Green Tea, Oolong Tea, White Tea, Pu’erh Tea and Yellow Tea. The Tea here is made into Black Tea. The dry leaves is full of golden pekoe, it tastes very sweet with well balanced floral and fruity notes.
