Selenium-rich Enshi tea
Enshi Fu Shai tea is originated from Enshi, which is considered as the world’s selenium capital, located in the Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, the western part of Hubei Province, China. It is made from fresh tea leaves that are grown in the high mountains of Enshi. The Tea is indeed known to be rich in selenium. This is because the tea is grown in selenium-rich soil in the Enshi region of China. The soil in this area is naturally high in selenium, which is absorbed by the tea plant as it grows.

This Tea is made of fine and fat tea buds harvested in the first week of harvesting period, from a small tea farm in Longgang village, located in the high mountain area of enshi. The finished tea has a dark color with apparent golden pekoe, the tea buds is fat, the taste is rich and smooth, well balanced in its fruity and floral notes, with a hint of sweetness, which can last for multiple steeps.
Enshi Fu Shai Black Tea and Enshi Yu Lu (Jade Dew) Green Tea
Enshi Fu Shai Black Tea and Enshi Yu Lu are both types of tea produced in the Enshi, both of them are know as Fu Shai Tea with high content of selenium, but they are made from different tea plant varieties and have distinct flavor profiles.
Enshi Fu Shai Black Tea is made from the tea plant variety called Enshi Zhuye, which is a large-leafed tea cultivar that is known for producing high-quality black tea. Enshi Yu Lu, on the other hand, is made from the tea plant variety called Enshi Yulu, which is a smaller-leafed tea cultivar that is used to produce green tea.
