Yong Chun Fo Shou Buddha’s Hands Black Tea 2021
Yong Chun Fo shou, also named as Buddha’s Hand Tea. It is originated from Yong Chun, Fujian. The area is surrounded with high mountain ranged from 600-800m. The Tea is usually made into Oolong Tea, while Yong Chun Fo Shou Black Tea is relatively not that popular, with limited quantity in the market. This limited batch of black tea is harvested from Spring 2021.
Why is the Tea called the Buddha’s Hands Tea?
As of its name, the fresh leaves is fat and big like the Buddha’s Hands. After brewing the tea, the wet leaves of Yong Chun Fo Shou Oolong Tea is very big. However, tea maker only use the small and fine tips to make the Black Tea, both of the dry and wet leaves of the Black Tea looks small. The Tea contain both of the characteristics of Black Tea and Oolong Tea, it is strong in flavor with orange-red liquor, distinctive in its fruity and dried longan notes; it also has lingering sweetness and “huigan” characteristic of the Oolong Tea.
