“Huang Zhi Xiang” means Yellow Branch/Sprig in Chinese, but it actually means “Orange Blossom Aroma”. Why it is called Yellow branch/ Sprig? Is the branches of this tea tree in yellow colour? It is originally being named as “Huang Ju Xiang”（黃橘香）， “Huang Ju” means “Orange Blossom” , and it sound very like “Huang Zhi” (which means yellow sprig) when pronouncing in Chinese. People called it “Huang Zhi Xiang” (黃枝香）because it is easier to pronounce. It is especially special in its unique high floral notes of Orange Blossom/ Gardenia, and is well balance with the honey note. The aroma and sweetness is very long-lasting.
