In the past, these leaves are considered as the leaves that are not good in looking, usually farmer will consume it by themselves. But in these years, golden leaves is also considered as another good options of Pu’erh. People found the taste of it is very sweet and good, especially low in astringency. This tea cake is using the golden leaves of the raw puerh from Bingdao. While Bingdao tea is too expensive and nearly unaffordable to drink, this golden leaves is a relatively good option.
