Shou Mei, a renowned variety of Fuding White Tea from Fujian, is made from mature leaves, typically plucked with two to three leaves per bud. This maturity contributes to a richer nutrient profile, enhancing the tea’s flavor and aroma.
This 2015 batch, pressed into a convenient 300g cake, show an impressive aged tasting notes from old white tea. Stored for over 9 years, the tea now become very smooth and mellow, complemented by a delightful fruity, honey and jujube notes.
