Hei Zhuan (黑磚), translated as “Black Brick/ Dark Brick”, is one of the earliest and most classic kind of Anhua Dark Tea. It is a compressed rectangular shaped brick, which is usually 2kg weighted. This Tea is stored for more than 4 years, it is smooth and rounded in its mouthfeel, with notably honey and floral notes, and comes with a lingering sweetness. As a kind of post fermentation tea, the longer you store the tea, the better and sweeter flavor it will be.

What is Three Bricks of Anhua Dark Tea?

Three brick includes Black Brick, Flower Brick and Fu Brick:

• Black Brick / Dark Brick ( Hei Zhuan ) : It refers to a compressed rectangular shaped brick, which is usually 2kg weighted.

• Flower brick ( Hua Zhuan ) : It is also called Hua Brick, is a reformed kinds of Hua Juan tea. It is a tea brick decorated with patterns on it.

• Fu Brick ( Fu Zhuan ) : It is special of its “golden flower” inside of it. The golden flower is actually the beneficial bacteria, which is a Eurotium cristatum. It is usually considered as having health benefit.
